Island Olive Oil Company is a locally owned and operated gourmet store supplying our community with the highest quality products since 2012.
Our store was born out of the desire to bring the highest quality, and freshest Extra Virgin Olive Oils and Balsamic Vinegars to our customers in a setting where you can taste them for yourself. We currently feature over 50 amazing oils and vinegars on tap to choose from for the simplest of home cooks to the most discerning chef .
Our owners are the only Certified Olive Oil Sommeliers in Hawaii, are from Honolulu and continuously search for fresh, quality oils, vinegars, and gourmet foods to bring into your home and kitchen. They travel the globe, meeting with farmers and producers to ensure that they adhere to strict principles, conscious farming practices, cultivate sustainable, natural ingredients, and who keep in mind a whole food approach.
For our Premium EVOO's, we provide the harvest date, country of origin, and chemistry on every extra virgin olive oil we offer so you can see and taste the freshness for yourself. We rotate our EVOOs from the northern hemisphere (October/November crush) to the southern hemisphere (April/May crush) so we may continuously bring you the freshest olive oil possible.
*All of our extra virgin olive oils are of the highest quality - chemically and sensory analyzed for taste, purity, freshness, and the highest standard available. By definition, an olive oil cannot be “extra virgin” if it is not first cold pressed, meaning the olives were only pressed once, and no heat was added during extraction, temperatures not to exceed 80.6° Fahrenheit.
