
Spooktacular Caprese Salad with Mozzarella Skulls
Ingredients:

Cooking spray
-
Skull-shaped silicone mold, purchase here!

~10 mozzarella pearls
-
1 cup bite-size melon pieces
-
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
-
4–6 oz prosciutto, torn into bite-size pieces

½ cup fresh basil leaves, torn or chopped
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Lightly spray the silicone mold with cooking spray.

Place one mozzarella pearl into each skull mold.

Bake for 8 minutes, then remove from the oven.

Using a paper towel, gently press the melted mozzarella into the mold to help it take shape and absorb excess moisture.

Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes to set.

While the mozzarella chills, prepare the salad:

Chop the melon and halve the cherry tomatoes.

Tear the prosciutto and basil into bite-size pieces.

Combine all ingredients in a serving dish.

Remove the mozzarella skulls from the molds and place them on top of the salad.

Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then sprinkle with the Italian Herb Dipping Blend.
