Fourth of July Fruit Salad

Use a transparent bowl to showcase the colors. Just slice your favorite juicy fruits, with a equal parts of red and blue berries depending on the amount of people being served. Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and strawberry slices are essential. Slice a starfruit (or 2) into “stars” and add to the mix.  You can substitute Asian Pears (like picture shown) for starfruit depending on what you have available in your area. Toss everything with Peach white balsamic vinegar. Serve as is, or top with a scoop of lychee sorbet, coconut sorbet, or vanilla ice cream.  The theme is red, white, and blue with stars.
