This spicy marinade recipe is a simple way to really turn up the flavor on any dish. Savory garlic, spicy chili, and the sweetness of the habanero honey balsamic makes for a mouthwatering marinade!
Serves 5 boneless skinless chicken thighs
2 tablespoons garlic flavored olive oil
3 tablespoons habanero honey dark balsamic
1 tablespoon chili powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon adobo chili sauce (from adobo chili’s in a can. Add more for smoky flavor)
1 minced chili from adobo chili’s (add more for added heat)
Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste
Marinate chicken for at least two hours and grill on high heat until meat reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
*Note: We used chicken thighs, but feel free to choose your favorite protein !
